Now Hiring: Technical Sales Specialist (TSS)

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for our Indianapolis location.

The ideal candidate will have abilities to interface with customers to fully develop an understanding of customer needs and maintain open channels of communication with both internal and external partners to ensure all customer needs are met. Occasional travel to local territory will be required during normal business hours. A clean driving record required. Responsibilities
·TSS will enter orders into ERP system and Salesforce to help the Technical Sales’ team, as needed.
  -TSS will document quotation and follow-up through Salesforce.
  -Position will be required to process all orders through GEBCO ERP system.
·TSS will be responsible for day-to-day decisions related to pricing and overall customer care within the company’s established parameters.
·Position will coordinate with outside salesperson to fully develop accounts within designated sales territory, some on-site customer interaction required.
·TSS assist customers with selection of products based on the scope of project needs through various applications and quote proposals.
·TSS will need a comprehensive understanding of technical products that may include but are not limited to concepts of pressure, flow, resistance, etc.
·TSS will troubleshoot situations with customers to analysis and interpret any problems customers may encounter.
Requirements
·Attention to detail, organization skills and ability to work independently or with a team are a must for success in this role.
·Results-driven personality a plus.
·Strong communication skills whether written, verbal or otherwise required especially using moderately complex terminology and concepts.
·Must be willing to travel locally with occasional overnights and have a clean driving record
·Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical field with customer service or similar.
·Bachelor’s degree in technical field (electrical, engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience in technical field required.
